- A Phrase That Grew Into Purpose

Founded 2011

  • Patrick J. Fischer (aka PJ Poet) founded the Braille Art Studio and pioneered Braille Art—visual pieces that combine printed text with matching braille overlays, allowing braille readers to experience both the message and the image.
  • One featured work, titled Farming - Knock on Corn, was a poem about farming that PJ Poet created at the Braille Art Studio.

Farming

  • This poem reflects a heartfelt tribute to the faith, labor, and daily devotion of farmers, captured in the simple phrase “Knock on Corn.”

Nebraska Cornhuskers

  • The second Knock on Corn poem celebrates the enduring spirit, unity, and pride of Husker Nation.
